Lord of Lords and King of Kings, We give thanks for the life of
Her Majesty, Elizabeth, lately our Queen:
For her example, humility And her service to her people, For her devotion to her Country And to the people of the Commonwealth.
We give especial thanks that As one who believed and trusted in you, She found in her faith, the strength and inspiration Which sustained her throughout her life.
As once you anointed her at her Coronation, So anoint her now with the power of your peace, And reach out to her with the gift of resurrection.
Be with her family and all those who mourn her, And give discernment and wisdom to Charles our new King.
Rest eternal grant to her O Lord And let light perpetual shine upon her. May she rest in peace And may she rise in glory, Through Jesus Christ Our Lord,
