CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE
Our Vision – to nurture our children and young people with a sense of God

Children are an important part of our church community and are welcome to remain in church with their parents during our services.
For young children there is a colouring/activity table and plenty of books for use at all times. The vestry is also available for parents to take their youngsters into, if distraction is needed for a while, at anytime during the service. There are lots of toys, books, puzzles etc. in the baskets and cupboard.

SUNDAYS at ST MARY'S

Sunday School - resumes on 11th January 2026 (groups for ages 3+) runs every Sunday at 9.30 am in term time excluding the 3rd Sundays of the month when we all worship together in the Church.

Little Fish - resumes on 11th January 2026 - for newborns to 2 year olds and their carers runs during the 9.30am service every Sunday in term-time, except the 3rd Sundays of the month when we all join the full service in the Church.

Minnows - resumes on Monday 12th January 2026 - a relaxed time for parents and carers of children aged 0-4 chatting over refreshments, with playtime and singing.
Drop-in Mondays in term-time 9.30-11.15am. All are welcome!

ST MARY'S FAMILIES
St Mary's Families brings together parents and children at St Mary's.
Email bulletins include information on children's events, parents' meet up and ways to get involved at church.
This friendly network also shares information, recommendations and advice, and there is a dedicated WhatsApp group to support this.

MINNOWS ON MONDAYS!
Our Minnows group is for parents and carers with children aged 0-4 years.​
Join us for a friendly welcome and relaxed time to chat, with refreshments, playtime and singing.
When: Monday mornings 09:30 to 11:15 in term-time.

​​​​Where: inside St Mary's Church, Church Street, Twickenham, TW1 3NJ
Cost: £3 suggested donation per family, including refreshments.
​
​All those caring for little ones are welcome, so do encourage partners / grandparents / other carers to come along if your little one spends Mondays with them - no booking required!​
