Creation & The Vital Spark

Linnet Baroque returns to St. Mary’s Church, Twickenham with a programme including selections from Handel’s Deutsche Arien, the cantatas of Telemann and Bach, and Addison’s 'Spacious Firmament' Hymn set to music from Haydn’s Creation. The performance also includes Harwood’s setting of Alexander Pope’s ode, ‘The Dying Christian to his Soul’ - most appropriately for this our magnificent church, where Pope’s remains are laid to rest.
