Remembrance Plaque

A plaque has recently been installed at the entrance to the Garden of Remembrance at St. Mary`s Church Twickenham. This is to help promote a sense of peace and sacredness of the garden which is used by many people during the year. All are welcome to visit the place where the ashes of loved ones are buried, to have their lunchtime sandwich or to simply sit in the sunshine and enjoy the garden.

Summer Fayre and Flower Festival

Last year's Summer Fayre and Flower Festival were devoted to the Diamond Jubilee and were held on the Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend as part of Twickenham's Jubilee celebrations and annual festival.

Over 3000 people came to the Summer Fayre and Flower Festival, and large sums were raised for the building fund of the church and for charity. The proceeds went to Kingston Samaritans, Toybox Appeal and the church.
