Financing the Vision
St Mary’s depends financially on those who give. It does not receive funds from the government or other funding bodies. If you are able to, please make a regular donation by setting up a bankers order and, if you are a tax-payer, making a gift aid declaration.
If you have not already received a copy of the Know Your Church campaign leaflet and Pledge Card, you can download them here.
Once you have downloaded the Pledge Card, fill it in and then either print it out and post it to the Stewardship Secretary.
In order to cement your Pledge, you will need to download the forms below:
Once you have reviewed the three forms, print out and complete the ones appropriate to how you wish to cement your pledge. Some guidance as to which forms need to be completed is provided below.
Whatever you decide to do we need you to complete the Stewardship Record form.
If you are a tax-payer then please make a Gift Aid Declaration by completing the enclosed Gift Aid Declaration form. This will allow for St Mary's to maximise its income.
If you are a tax-payer Gift Aiding your giving is advantageous in two ways:
- For every £100 given St Mary's can claim an extra £25 from the Inland Revenue.
- You too can benefit by offsetting an eligible Gift Aid payment against your income tax (entering it into the relevant part of your tax return).
From a practical standpoint it may be easiest for you implement your giving by signing up to the Bankers Order option, in which case please also complete the Bankers Order form.
It does away with your need to scrabble around to find cash prior to attending a service.
The relevant signed originals then need to be posted to:
St Mary's Stewardship Secretary
2 Walpole Road
So that arrangements for your wishes can be implemented.
We look forward to receiving the returned relevant forms.
If you have any queries or for more information contact Peter Sheil, the Stewardship Secretary, on 020 88755 0454 or at the above address.
Thank you very much for your support of St Mary's.
